The city of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, is seeking bids for the installation of sanitary sewer main (including manholes) and pavement repair in the Richview Road area . All qualified contractors/vendors are invited to submit a sealed bid/proposal.

Submission Requirements

  • Sealed bids/proposals must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope:

  • Include all required forms and documentation. Incomplete submissions may be rejected.

General Terms

  • The City reserves the right to reject any or all {bids/Proposals}, or any part thereof.
  • All contracts for the construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
  • The successful bidder shall comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and must be an equal opportunity employer.
