Water and Sewer Services

About Your Water

The City of Mt. Vernon gets its water from the Rend Lake Conservancy District. Mt. Vernon also shares water with nearby towns like Belle Rive, Bluford, North East Water, Waltonville, and Woodlawn.

Three city departments work together to make sure you have water and sewer service all the time.
