The Airport Authority Commission is responsible for developing, constructing, and maintaining the Mt. Vernon Outland Airport.
Overview
The Airport Authority Commission consists of five members, serving five-year terms. The appointment of members is divided between the City of Mt. Vernon and the Jefferson County Board. Three members are appointed by the Mayor with the advice of the City Council. Two members are appointed by the Jefferson County Board
