Garbage

Requirements

Garbage must be placed inside of the blue refuse cart with the lid closed in order to be collected. Refuse carts must be set out by 6 a.m. and removed from the curb within 24 hours of your scheduled collection.

Unacceptable Items

Household products that are flammable, toxic, corrosive or reactive can be dangerous to the people that collect the carts and to the environment if disposed of incorrectly. Please do not put

• batteries
• paint
• construction materials
• medical waste
• pesticides and poisons
• automobile fluids like oil, anti freeze and gas

Larger items that will not fit into your refuse cart, such as a mattress, will require a bulk item pick up to be scheduled.
