Bid Announcement: Broadway Commons Concrete Alley Project

The City of Mt. Vernon is now accepting sealed bids for the Broadway Commons Concrete Alley Project. This project consists of replacing 4,487 square feet of alley pavement with 6” thick reinforced concrete.

Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked on the outside as: BROADWAY COMMONS - CONCRETE ALLEY PROJECT. Sealed bids will be accepted until 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at City Hall, Room 100, 1100 Main, Mt. Vernon, IL 62864. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the deadline.

The bid packet can be accessed on our website at www.mtvernon.com/bids or obtained in person from the City Clerk’s office at City Hall, Room 100, 1100 Main Street, Mt. Vernon, IL.

The city reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and may accept the one most advantageous to the City of Mt. Vernon. The successful bidder will be required to be an equal-opportunity employer.
