City Invites Bids For A Sidearm Mower

The City of Mt. Vernon is accepting bids for the purchase of a sidearm mower for use in the Public Works Department. Bids will be accepted until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at the City Clerk's Office, City Hall, Room 100, 1100 Main Street, Mt. Vernon, IL, 62864. All bids will be opened at this time.

Key points to note:

  • Bid forms/specifications may be obtained from the City Clerk's Office or online at mtvernon.com/bids.
  • All bids must be sealed and clearly labeled with "PW Sidearm Mower".
  • Bids will be awarded at the Monday, August 5, 2024 City Council meeting.
  • The City Council reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to accept which is most advantageous to the City of Mt. Vernon.
