Reminder: Electronics Recycling Event this Saturday, October 26th

The Electronics Recycling Event is happening this Saturday, October 26th, from 9 a.m. to noon at 1201 Casey Avenue. Don't miss this chance to responsibly dispose of your unwanted electronics. We're partnering with J&C E-Recycling from Belleville, Illinois, to help you clear out those old items.

Accepted items include:

• Computer towers, parts, and accessories

• Cell phones and battery backups

• Printers, power supplies, and electronic motors

• Hard drives, mice, and keyboards

• Laptops, speakers, and modems

• DVD/VHS players and small appliances

• Lawn tools, lawnmowers, microwaves, and more

Remember: Up to 2 televisions per household will be accepted. Items NOT accepted include light bulbs, smoke detectors, propane tanks, and carbon dioxide detectors.
