Road Closure and Paving Notice For October 22nd 2024

The City of Mt. Vernon will begin paving 29th Street on October 22nd, weather permitting. The street will be closed to all traffic from  9:00 AM to 5:00 PM to facilitate the paving process.

Paving Schedule:

October 22nd: 29th Street (from Broadway to Main Street)

Parking Restrictions and Driveway Access:

• No street parking will be allowed on 29th Street during the paving process.
• Residents will need to park on adjacent streets as their will be no driveway access during this time.  

Caution in the Construction Zone:

Please follow all posted signs and instructions from workers for your safety and the safety of others. Plan your route accordingly to avoid delays.
