Road Closures and Paving Notice for October 15th and 16th 2024

The City of Mt. Vernon will begin paving Wildwood Street on October 15th and October 16th, weather permitting. The street will be partially closed to facilitate the paving process.

Paving Schedule:

October 15th: Southbound lane will be paved.
October 16th: Northbound lane will be paved.

Parking Restrictions and Driveway Access:

• No street parking will be allowed on Wildwood Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM during the paving process.
• Residents will need to park on adjacent streets as their will be no driveway access during this time. 
• Residents on the side of the street where paving is taking place will not have access to the street. 
• Residents on the opposite side will maintain access to the street, but caution is advised.  

Caution in the Construction Zone:

Please follow all posted signs and instructions from workers for your safety and the safety of others. Plan your route accordingly to avoid delays.
