Road Improvements Coming Soon to Broadway!

We’ve got great news, Mt. Vernon!

The long-awaited road improvements for ILL 15 (Broadway) from 27th Street East to the downtown split (the railroad tracks) are coming!

The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will be letting the project for these repairs on April 25, 2025. While the exact start date for construction may vary, the project is expected to be completed by fall 2025.

While IDOT crews are working hard, please be mindful of lane restrictions or detours along the way.
