Dear Residents,

We are writing to inform you that a water line replacement project is scheduled to begin on August 26th and is expected to be completed by October 31st. The project involves the installation of an 8-inch PVC water main along South 18th Street from Broadway to Perkins Avenue.

Key Information:

• Construction Duration: August 26th to October 31st
• Location: South 18th Street from Broadway to Perkins Avenue
• Water Main Replacement: 8" PVC water main installation
• Water Service: Water service should generally remain uninterrupted, except during working hours when water main breaks occur or connections are made to the existing system.  
• Boil Water Order: Following the reconnection of water service, a boil water order will be in effect. Please boil all water used for drinking and cooking until further notice.
• Water Restoration: Once water service is restored, we recommend that you run water for a few minutes in a bathtub or outdoor faucet to clear any residual debris.
• Low Water Pressure: If you experience low water pressure, please unscrew the end of your faucet and clean out any debris that may be causing the issue.

The contractor will ensure that all damage to driveways and lawns is corrected as part of the project.
