Video Gaming Licenses

In the City of Mt. Vernon, it is required that anyone who wishes to have or operate a video gaming terminal on their premises must first obtain a license for each terminal, referred to as a "Video Gaming Terminal License." These licenses can only be issued to an establishment, as defined in the city ordinance. Different rules apply to various types of establishments. A standard establishment is allowed up to six video gaming terminal licenses, while a licensed large truck stop establishment can have a maximum of ten such licenses.

You can download and submit a completed application by email or in person, to the City Clerks Office located inside City Hall. Please ensure you attach all the required documents and fees in order to process your application in a timely manner. The application will be reviewed and if approved, a license will be issued.
