Minority Affairs and Human Relations Commission

The Minority Affairs and Human Relations Committee advises and consults with city officials on all matters involving prejudices or discrimination by recommending corrective actions as it may deem appropriate.

Overview

The Minority Affairs and Human Relations Commission was established by a Resolution passed by the City Council in 1994. The commission consists of 13 members appointed by the Mayor with the advice of the City Council. Each member serves a 3-year term.
