Park Board
The Park Board serves in an advisory capacity to the City Manager and the City Council in the use, operation, and maintenance of the City's park system and other public grounds as determined by the City Manager.
Overview
The Park Board was established by Article 2 Section 2.7 of the Mt. Vernon Revised Code of Ordinances. The Board consists of seven members appointed by the Mayor with the advice of the City Council. Each member is appointed to a three-year term.
